Tired of trying

“Tired Of Trying” is a dramatic popballad with an uplifting sound and driving chorus, creating a surprising contrast to its topic: ilayda narrates the story of a relationship reaching its obvious breaking point, where you find yourself in the cycle of making heartfelt statements, accusations, apologies and retracting them. The song catches the exhaustion of continuously attempting to make things work , and finally - the silent acceptance that some relationships are destined to fade, no matter how much it hurts and how desperately we cling to their remnants.

Having established herself as a promising emerging artist last year, ilayda continues to showcase her talent after supporting artists such as Mimi Webb, Upsahl, Zeck, and Marie Bothmer, along with numerous performances at renowned festivals like the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg. Following the unveiling of her debut EP, "shades," in 2022, ilayda has since released singles like the melancholic piano-heartbreak song "Retail Therapy," the synth-vibe track "How Do U Sleep?" and her latest releases, "Velvet” and “Tired Of Trying”.

Those following her on social media are aware that her voice has drawn comparisons to Jorja Smith and Noah Cyrus, earning praise from Lewis Capaldi with the words "Wow, your voice is incredible!”
